Cracks in the sidewalk

of dreams

falling like leaves

on the ground

a glimmer remains

The breaking dawn

brings a new beginning

by the time the moon reflects

it feels like the end of dreams

stripped bare

as a tree

in cold despair

Birdsong fills the days

which are shorter

like life

without dreams

how to begin like

the rose burgeoning through concrete

A tear trickles down

dying embers

of a flame

Could it be the end?

She wondered

The end of September

don’t let your fire

I love the picture and the words.

The Expressible Café

rain princess

You cannot reach me Here
I am far from you
Carried away by Melody
Shades of vibrancy burst forth
My mind takes flight
I cannot hear you now…
I will return
When this moment has faded.
I am swept up now
I can think and my thoughts are mine
You cannot see or understand
But I am fine and Happy
As the Song takes hold,
Let the water fall, let the rainbow dance
I move in, through, and am
A part of the scenery…
Notes of breathtaking Harmony
A fire lit within
Embracing my all
And then… I am back.
